Cuisine American
- 4 ounce dark chocolate chips choose from 70% to 90% cacao
- 1 tsp avocado oil
- 2 tbsp almonds chopped, unsalted
- 2 tbsp pistachio nuts chopped, unsalted
Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square pan with wax paper, leaving extra paper hanging over the edges for easy removal later.
Melt the Chocolate: Place the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat it in 30-second intervals, stirring after each session. Stop heating when the chocolate is almost melted. Add avocado oil and stir until smooth and fully melted.
Assemble the Bark: Pour the melted chocolate into the prepared pan and spread it evenly using a spatula. Sprinkle the chopped almonds and pistachios evenly over the surface of the chocolate.
Set the Bark: Cover the pan with plastic wrap and freeze for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm and set.
Cut into Pieces: Remove the bark from the pan using the wax paper overhang. Use a sharp knife to cut it into squares or triangles, depending on your preference.
